World Championship 2023 record

MAXIBASKETBALL WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP 2023 Record number of teams in the first day of registration Note by Ezequiel Re. August 4, 2022. The biggest championship in the world has already opened the registration. And there were record of teams in the first day. FIMBA received 50 teams from around the world just in the first ours. The 16th edition of the FIMBA Maxibasketball World Cup will be held in August and September 2023 in Mar del Plata city, Argentina. Mar del Plata will be front pages of news in August and September 2023. It is that the Maxibasketball World Championship promises to become the amazing sporting event. The 16th edition aspires to have 400 teams from 60 nations from all over the planet, both in female and male branches, and with athletes from 30 to more than 80 years old. 47° Campeonato Argentino de Maxibásquetbol

Culminó el 47º Campeonato Argentino de Maxibásquetbol denominado Mario Arteaga y cuyas diferentes categorías se denominaron Oscar Peón, Aníbal Bolzico y Ricardo Giunta. Los equipos que se consagraron campeones fueron: Santa Fe, en mayores de 45 años; Chaco, en mayores de 45 años y Tostado en mayores de 35 años. La última jornada se desarrolló en el Club de Regatas Santa Fe, teniendo como escenarios los gimnasios Tribu Mocoretá y Gómez Iriondo. Las posiciones finales en las tres categorías disputadas fueron las siguientes: Masculino 35+ 1° Tostado 2° Córdoba 3° Esperanza Masculino 45+ 1° Chaco 2° Santa Fe 3° Mendoza Masculino 55+ 1° Santa Fe 2° Santo Tomé 3° Córdoba Con mucho público, más de trescientos cincuenta participantes y un marco deportivo de excelencia se desarrolló el torneo en los Clubes Regatas, Gimnasia, Bco. Provincial, Unión de Santo Tomé y Rivadavia. La final de 35 fue electrizante, definiéndose en tiempo suplementario por un doble sobre la hora.
